To live in faith / leven in vertrouwen

Last week the mother of a little boy who had surgery told me about their kidnapping a few weeks before. They took her and her 3 year old son, asked voor 600 thousand us dollars and threatened to rape her if they had to wait for the money while she had to stay for the night. Her family gathered haitian money and sent it as soon as possible. Released, no rape but traumatised.

I just heard of a marketlady being kidnapped in her house somewhere outside the big city and main roads. She is a patient of us with high bloodpressure and has diabetes. They ask 500 thousand american dollars.

After 3 days no news yet...

After 4 days a lot of money is being payed by family and friends.... they say they want more....

After 5 days released!! Traumatised.  Slapped in the face a lot. But released. Now it's time to heal. If that's possible.

It's outrageous the amount of money they ask. We can only live in faith.

Men vroeg 600 duizend Amerikaanse dollar.
