It was an oldfashioned busy Monday clinic.
More than 150 patients to see. All kind of people (9 days till 100 years old) with all kinds of diseases and illnesses.
One of the patients bows his head toward me. He wispers: we are so grateful for all the work you have been doing. We hope you live a long life and that you will stay in this country for a long time to work.

Meer dan 150 patienten. Allerlei soorten mensen (9 dagen oud tot 100 jaar oud) met allerlei soorten ziekten en aandoeningen.
Één van de patienten komt met zijn hoofd dicht bij mij. Hij fluistert. Hij bedankt me voor al het werk al gedaan en hij hoopt dat ik nog lang mag leven om in Haiti te blijven werken.
